Puno – Chivay with tourist stop 6:00am
DESCRIPTION:
6:00 a.m. to 6:15 a.m. Pick you up from hotels near the main square, the bus departs at 6:15 a.m. we will make three stops: Lagunillas, pampa Cañahuas, Patapampa.
First stop: Lagunillas, you can appreciate view of the Andean plateau and small lakes that habitat of flamengos, Andean gulls and other birds, it is a great opportunity to take photographs
Second stop, Pampa Cañahuas is the national reserve Salinas and Aguada Blanca in this place We will appreciate the rock formations and South American camelids such as vicuñas, llamas and alpacas.
Our last stop is Patapampa (sight of volcanoes) located at 4,950 m.a.s.l. from where we will appreciate the volcanoes Misti, Chachani and Ampato Patahuasi, you can drink coca tea and make use of the toilet.
Finally, we will arrive to the Town of Chivay in the office half a block from the arms depot. approximately at 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.
ITINERARY:
- 06:00 to 06:10 pick up from your hotels in the city of Puno
- 08:30 a.m. Lagunillas: observation of wild birds.
- 10:15 a.m. Pampa Cañahuas: Landscape observation / you can drink coca or coffee tea.
- 11:15 a.m. Patapampa Volcano Viewpoint: The most point of the route 4,950 m.a.s.l.
- 12:30 arrival to the town of Chivay, (1/2 block from the main square).
